Her Royal Highness Steps Out Solo in Givenchy!
Is it even possible to give too much credit to the late Hubert de Givenchy for making the little black dress de rigueur for any stylish woman's wardrobe? After all, the legendary couturier WAS responsible for arguably the most iconic LBD ever, Audrey Hepburn's "Breakfast At Tiffanys" chic black sheath. A little black dress that fits like a glove has never let a girl down, and tonight for her first solo appearance since joining the House of Windsor, The Duchess of Sussex positively wowed in a sleek velvet Givenchy dress with stunning sheer sleeves, created by her wedding dress designer Clare Waight Keller.
Everything about Her Royal Highness' look tonight was perfection - the dress, the elegant Aquazzura pumps (which might be my favorites of her shoe collection), and the discreet Givenchy clutch. Gone is that damn messy bun, replaced with a glossy, sophisticated, and enviable mane. Some people are complaining that she's wearing too much black, but I'll take a look like this any day the Chocolate Duchess wants to serve it. It's just yummy.
